Through My Eyes

This is a story about more than blindness. It’s about how we see each other—and what we often fail to notice.

Creating this 10-minute documentary was one of the most challenging and rewarding projects of our semester. Through My Eyes follows Dr. Michael Oligbenga, a blind PhD student, teacher, and husband at Sussex University. His daily routines may appear quiet and ordinary—but through them, we uncover a powerful story about perception, resilience, and redefining ability.
